Dr. Benedetti's Qualifications and Experience Dr. Benedetti completed his undergraduate work at Miami University in Oxford, Ohio and went on to receive his medical degree with honors from the Medical College of Ohio. He completed a six year general surgery residency and served as Chief Resident in General Surgery at the University of California, Davis Medical Center. Dr. Benedetti completed a residency in plastic surgery at the University of Virginia Health System, where he also served as Plastic Surgery Administrative Chief Resident.
A member of a number of professional organizations, including the American Society of Plastic Surgeons, Dr. Benedetti has served as Medical Director of the Kaiser Permanente Cosmetic Center and as a Clinical Professor at the Oregon Health and Sciences University, Division of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery. Also, Dr. Benedetti feels it is important to provide care to those who are less fortunate and has traveled abroad on surgical missions to India to perform surgeries on children born with facial deformities.
